Now I’ve Had the Time of My Life
Night out.
Did you have a night out with friends or a loved one that rocked your world? Who was there? What was the highlight of the night?
Wow, so I am completely stuck on this one. I know I had fun nights out (and nights in) but for some reason they are completely escaping me and time flies so I may be confusing 2008 with 2009. Will return to this one… Sorry, folks.

Book(s) of the Year
Book.
What book – fiction or non – touched you? Where were you when you read it? Have you bought and given away multiple copies?
Keeping this one short and sweet, but both of these books blew me away…..
Unaccustomed Earth, by Jhumpa Lahiri
The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver

Geekin’ out!
Article.
What’s an article that you read that blew you away? That you shared with all your friends. That you Delicious’d and reference throughout the year.
Hmmm. This is a tough one, but I’m sure this article was up there:
Yes, geeky, I know, but Wordpress rocks and I love it. Sure, it’s not a perfect CMS and there are other better tools for large-scale CMS sites, but for smaller sites, and for me (designer developer but NOT a programmer) it’s perfect. This article had great tips and links to other articles with plug-ins, tutorials, etc. Great one for 2009!

Grove Park – Sunset Terrace
Restaurant moment
Grove Park Inn at Sunset with Dave (oh, and it happened to be with a gift certificate!). The weather was perfect, the sun danced on the terrace overlooking the mountains of surrounding Asheville, we were in need of a date, and the food. Delicious. We had heard some mixed reviews of their food, but everything was exquisite. AND a delicious dry red wine (back in my non-pregnancy, drinking days). A perfect experience.
