Since it’s been a while…

3 things that make you happy:

1. Uninterrupted sleep (it doesn’t come easy, and 4 hours in a row is heavenly)
2. Smiles and laughs while sleeping, and now, finally, while awake!
3. Stolen moments with Dave (and, at the moment they are infrequent, short, and definitely stolen)

2 things you are looking forward to today:

1. Jessica time. We don’t get to see each other nearly enough, so I can’t wait to hang out for a bit
2. Checking one thing off of my list

This is a delayed post, but last weekend we took our first (mini) road trip with Indie. Marly joined us too and we cruised up to check out Dave’s show in Virginia. Unfortunately, I missed the opening reception because it was only a week after Indira was born but I’m so glad I finally got to see the show in person. Wow. It was amazing! I was really blown away. Dave’s art has evolved so much and this show was just so impressive and cohesive and beautiful and captivating. I was so proud when he sent me a photo as he was working on it and seeing it in person really did blow me away. I wish I had more time to just sit and enjoy it but lately there’s no extra “sitting and enjoying” time. There will be again one day though.
