Living with Dogs
I love having dogs and can’t imagine living without them and I adore our dogs. In fact, I hope eventually we can have some land and a set up where we can have four or five dogs. Definitely not going to trade them in but it would be so nice to be able to have a set up like this (which is impossible with dogs):

And I do have a lambskin rug (not nearly as gigantic as this) which ends up staying folded up because the dogs get it so dirty. I guess that makes no sense considering the fact that we’re going to have dogs for a very, very long time.

Sewing
I haven’t sewn anything since high school. I just can’t get down with sewing. And I don’t have a sewing machine. I have two buttons hanging off of my coat that I need to sew on so that I don’t lose them, but I can’t even find a needle and thread (do I really not have a needle and thread?). That being said, I want to make this (Candice tweeted about it earlier today):
I’m horrible with mail and maybe this will help me get rid of my mail heaps. I can dream, right?
Thanks, Bright & Brithe.

I’ll meet you there.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.

Font Love
Myfonts.com chose their top 10 fonts of 2009. Here’s the ones I’m digging and wishing I could afford:
Calluna
I love, love, love the details. It’s classic but fun. Check out the awesome OO. So nice!
Ivory
Beautiful. Swashes. Heart. Makes me want to design a children’s fairy tale book.

First week
Wow, the first week of this year is a jam-packed one! On the agenda:
- First birthing class (I have no idea what to expect but I know that the class is a mix of all different ideas and methods so I’m looking forward to that!)
- Infant CPR class (I don’t even know regular CPR so this will be good!)
- Client lunch
- Client phone conference
- Baby kicking like crazy – it’s starting to feel a little like Alien – these sudden body parts (as yet unidentifiable) jutting out of my belly! Very weird.
- Balance
- Page for M2C (a secret project)
Let’s get started!
