Late winter morning sun
paints the trees and mountains
brightens the browns of the season
and warms her face
almost fooling her into believing
it’s spring.
The sunlight makes it all seem lighter
but she still feels weighed down standing there
looking over the mountains
and as she pushes a strand of hair from her face
and thinks about how she got here the heaviness begins to lift…

1. Sunny, warm mornings even though it’s still winter
2. Feeling connected
3. Finishing a big web project

2 things I’m looking forward to today:
1. Working things out with someone super important
2. Lunch at Barley’s with work peeps

3 long term things I’m looking forward to:
1. Learning Flash
2. Taking a trip far away
3. Getting back in shape
